modern table | ligne roset
Inspired by the experimental residential buildings from the late ’40s till the mid ’60s in the United States, we apply the idea of economic, modular architecture to a dining table.
The resulting design is reminiscent of the famous bungalows of the era, like the Case Study House No.21 by Pierre Koenig. In the spirit of these great buildings, we express the honest aesthetics of modernism by placing the tabletop on a wooden frame inspired by a steel beam construction.
